Lucy Marmer was brought in to the Cardiff General Hospital, already dead, in September 2001. She was aged 43 at the time. Lucy was killed by Mary, who shattered her ribs and tore her heart out to sustain herself. Hospital records marked some of her injuries down as "unidentified trauma". Records of her death and the results of her post-mortem were handed to police as part of "Operation Lowry".

Lucy was among many cases Torchwood Three doctor Owen Harper found of Mary's murders, all with their hearts removed. (TV: Greeks Bearing Gifts)
