Ppiffer's Second Ode to the Cepholan Whale in E minor was a song which once sparked a minor argument between the Fourth Doctor and Romana I.

Not long after securing the first segment of the Key to Time, the Doctor attempted to sing the song in the TARDIS. Romana objected to it as an "atonal racket", but the Doctor countered, calling it "one of the most beautiful atonal rackets in the universe." She then pointed out that Cepholans had three larynxes, while he had but one. Though obviously physically unable to perform the song, he continued to protest until the TARDIS' erratic behaviour effectively ended the discussion. (PROSE: Tomb of Valdemar)
