The Long Coolth of Summer was an 1985 Hollywood film which was destined to fail at the box office. To prevent this, Michael Brookhaven took the script and had the film produced in 1953 by Linecross Distribution, turning the 1985 film into a successful "remake". Brookhaven went uncredited in both versions of the film. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
