Ewen Solon (7 September 1917-7 July 1985) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Chal in The Savages and Vishinsky in Planet of Evil. He was also considered for the roles of Ike Clanton and Virgil Earp in The Gunfighters. (TCH 7)
