Cardiff Unknown was a podcast run by and featuring Jeff Morris and Niamh, covering mysterious goings on in Cardiff. (AUDIO: Cardiff Unknown - October 2018, ScrapeJane) In one episode, dated October 2018, they attempted to prove the existence of Torchwood.

The next episode of Cardiff Unknown was put out some amount of time later, broadly in the aftermath of the tsunami which devastated Cardiff. Deciding to go for a "lighter" topic, Jeff and Niamh set out to debunk stories about ScrapeJane. However, while summoning her with an incantation written by Meredith Pope, creator of the legend, ScrapeJane was actually given form within Jeff's mind, and killed him.
