Vichy

Vichy was a town in the Zone Libre or free zone in the south of France during World War II. It was the seat of the Vichy government.

The Second Doctor, Ben Jackson, Polly Wright, Jamie McCrimmon and several members of the French Resistance had to be extremely wary of the Vichy secret police, the Milice when travelling in France in February 1944. (AUDIO: Resistance)
