• The subtitles of the BBC-version DVD give the name as "Ultramanta". (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)
• The headpiece of the Ultramancer is a recycled helmet for a shade from the British children's tv show Mission 2110.
• The Ultramancer costume was reused for the Mercenoid in the Red Dwarf episode, Can of Worms.
