Tribal masks were what the Eleventh Doctor called the distinctive masks worn by Silurian Hunters of the subspecies who lacked a third eye. (GAME: The Mazes of Time) These masks resembled the face of a Silurian species seen on prehistoric Earth. The faces of the Silurians who wore the masks, however, were more reminiscent of humans.
