On 23 April, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1966 - "The Final Test" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1966 - Part two of the TV Comic story The Trodos Tyranny was first published.
- 1977 - Part six of the TV Comic story The Fire Feeders was first published.
- 2001 - The Squire's Crystal was first published by Big Finish Productions.[1]
- 2005 - World War Three was first broadcast on BBC One. Later, Why on Earth? aired on BBC Three.
- 2009 - Part one of the Torchwood Magazine comic story Broken was first published.
- 2009 - The Doctor Who Adventures comic story The Crystal Palace was first published.
- 2011 - The Impossible Astronaut was broadcast on BBC One. Later, Coming to America aired on BBC Three and Doctor Who: Rewind on BBC America.
- 2011 - My Sarah Jane: A Tribute to Elisabeth Sladen aired on BBC Three.
- 2014 - The Doctor Who Adventures comic story Thrill-Seeker was first published.
- 2016 - Friend from the Future premiered during a football match's half time.
