Where Are They Now?

Where Are They Now? was a piece "presented" by the 25th anniversary celebrations which documented the lives of the Doctor's companions after they left his company.

Tegan Jovanka is still an air stewardess and tells two pilots to learn how to fly their plane properly, Katarina is still in space comforted by the fact that the Doctor always rescues his companions and Leela serves roasted Gallifreyan President to her husband Andred. (NOTVALID: Doctor Who? 143)

Behind the scenes

Tegan was shown to have lost her job as an air stewardess in the 1983 television story Arc of Infinity although stories set after Tegan's final departure from the Doctor such as the 2006 audio The Gathering showed her returning to the profession for a time.

Katarina's depiction in this story is largely consistent with her depiction in later media. She was given final thoughts in the Now We Are Six Hundred short story Skipping Song.
