Serena was Andy Davidson's assistant. She was date-raped by Michael Hughes. After she received a card, she was spurred on to push him into the path of a bus, killing him. Believing that "Gwen Cooper" was onto her, she hit her with her car and left her to die. Yvonne Hartman relieved her guilt about the rape and told her to move on with her life.
