Cameron worked at the Rochester Castle as a tour guide. She often heard voices. She encountered the Twelfth Doctor. She was delighted when the Doctor said that he could also hear the voices. Feeling something was very wrong, she tried to tell her friend Alex to not walk into the mist. She was recognised by the owner of the castle in 1215 and was able to use a 29th century weapon. The Doctor asked her what she could hear from the 29th century. The Doctor realised that she might have been sent back from the future in a war. (AUDIO: Distant Voices)
