A Dalek Scientist assesses the sonic guard. (COMIC: The Secret of the Emperor)

The sonic guard was a component of the Golden Dalek's casing. During the Invasion of Uranus, it was been damaged by the supersonic waves used by an Earth colony on an artificial satellite orbiting the planet Uranus. This was later found by the Dalek Scientists as they rebuilt him. (COMIC: The Secret of the Emperor)
