Merculite was a time traveller.

She used a time ring to travel to the 41st century. She impersonated the popular movie star Mercy so she could get on Cressida. From there, she tried to divert the asteroid Maleficent so it would not strike Uranus. She was stopped by the Seventh Doctor, who recognised her and said he knew her cousin. (PROSE: Uranus)
