Verno was a planet that fought a war with Earth in the 30th century with robots. After being defeated, one survivor, Arborge Quince, planned to rebuild the robots and launch a surprise attack on Earth. The Second Doctor, John and Gillian arrived on Verno and defeated Quince's plans. (COMIC: Space War Two)
