Grandmother Scorpion was the forbears of the Scorpions in Adric's city. Teegarna wanted to feed the Fifth Doctor to them. The Doctor accidentally gave them access to the telepatchic network which caused chaos. (AUDIO: The Boy That Time Forgot)
