On 25 December 1964, Andy Hansen and Erimem bought a Goldfinger novel with Sean Connery on the front from a Woolworths store in London. (PROSE: In Search of Doctor X) Sean Connery was known for playing James Bond in the film series. (AUDIO: Thin Ice)

There was a scene in the film which involved James Bond about to be cut up by a laser beam. (PROSE: The Life of Evans)

Ianto Jones watched Goldfinger in his "James Bondathon". It included a scene where "Shirley Eaton gets painted gold". (PROSE: Trace Memory)
