Kim Fortune

Kim Fortune was an alien conspiracy theorist who hosted his own podcast, Kim Fortune’s Mysterious World.

In October 2019, one of his podcast episodes became close to the truth, and he suggested that Dorothy McShane might be related to alien goings-on. She agreed to be interviewed by him to try and steer his rumours away from what had actually happened, which had worked, but meant that he tried to get in contact with her at least once a week about his latest theory. He even tried to enter the headquarters of A Charitable Earth, loitering in the street for an hour after being escorted out by the security. Dorothy was tempted to tell him about UNIT, but decieded not to.

He also had one episode of a TV show he tried to start that quickly got shut down. In the first episode he was interviewing a young girl who explained that aliens had tried to abduct her, describing how she had had a nightmare that she had been transported to Peerie Canto, before waking up and finding that two Ratts had spat a horrible slime over her before disapearing.

The TV show had "shlocky music" and had dodgy CGI effects. (PROSE: At Childhood's End)
