A time battle was a type of conflict fought during the Last Great Time War between the Dalek Empire and Time Lords. The Dalek Time Strategist claimed Sontarans were not smart enough nor strong enough to fight in time battles, but General Fesk continued with his effort to bring the Sontaran Empire into the War.
