David Holliday (4 August 1937 - 26 March 1999[1]) voiced Virgil Tracy in the first series of the supermarionation television series Thunderbirds. This included the episode The Man from MI.5 which crossed over into the Doctor Who universe by featuring the Daleks. He also played several guest characters during his tenure as Virgil. After the first series, Holliday returned to the United States to be replaced by Jeremy Wilkin for the second series and the two Thunderbirds films.

Holliday was most prolific as a Broadway actor and was a five-time nominee and four-time winner of the Carbonell Award for Best Actor in Musicals. His only television credits after his work on Thunderbirds were for the 1970 film The Projectionist, two 1973 episodes of Coronation Street, and the 1987 film Sleeping Beauty.
