- This marks the first volume of The Third Doctor Adventures to not feature Katy Manning as Jo Grant.
- Sarah Jane Smith made her debut in The Third Doctor Adventures range, with Elisabeth Sladen's daughter Sadie Miller once again recreating the role, having previously done so in Return of the Cybermen.
