Nass
The practical, ruthless war-leader Nass was the new personality born in the body of the Guerner who, on Rimba, had been known as Swee, after the Guerners awakened from their memory-erasing suspended animation under threat from the Sto-cat. Nass was confronted with the Fourth Doctor, who, mistaking him for Swee, was confused as to why Nass did not seem to recognise him as his old friend. Nass ordered the capture of the Doctor and his companion Sarah Jane, believing them to be responsible for the Sto-cat's attack. However, the Doctor instead managed to deactivate the Sto-cat. He then convinced the Guerners to return to suspended animation, erasing their minds once again, in the hope that their next rebirth would be as a more peaceful species. (PROSE: The Sleeping Beast)
