(COMIC: The First Men in the Moon) According to the Doctor, none of the tales were more terrifying than that of the invisible man. (COMIC: The Invisible Man)
The Fourth Doctor knew many stories about time travel (COMIC: I Saw the End of the World, Always Leave 'Em Laughing!, I Took a Journey into Fear, I Must Enter the Tomb of Tut-Am-Tut, When the Switch Is Pulled...) and immortality. Behind the scenes
The Fourth Doctor telling "time tales" was used as the in-universe framing device for Doctor Who Weekly's comic stories, with the Doctor introducing and, often, concluding each story. These devices were used in each story of the Tales from the TARDIS and Dr Who's Time Tales series of Marvel comics reprints.
