Those Were the Days was a nostalgia television programme started by Henry Gordon Jago while he and George Litefoot were stranded in 1968. After its initial producer was fired, the show was produced by Aubrey Pinder. (AUDIO: The Age of Revolution) Sid James, Tony Hancock, Noël Coward, Eric and Ernie and the Amazing Alice performed at the Palace Theatre live for one of its broadcasts. (AUDIO: The Final Act)
