- Series 13 (including a trilogy of specials scheduled for 2022) - Jodie Whittaker returns in her final episodes as the Thirteenth Doctor, with Mandip Gill returning as Yasmin Khan and introducing John Bishop as new companion Dan Lewis.[1]
- Post-Series 13/2022 Specials - Russell T Davies resumes his position of showrunner for Doctor Who's 60th anniversary in 2023 and beyond, with an as-yet-announced actor as the Fourteenth Doctor.[2]

- The initial planned live event G’Day of the Doctor, which was was set to premiere n Unearthly Palaver, an original stage play written by Paul Magrs and featuring Katy Manning as Iris Wildthyme, and David Benson as Panda, was "postponed" due to the COVID-19 pandemic on 9 May 2020, although a charity livestream featuring many of the planned guests of the event was held on the initial planned date.[71]
