Talk:Metaltron
Argument
Surely we don't need an article on this? And besides, metaltron isn't its real name. The evil dudeArnie 14:06, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Its name is not given, Van Statten named it this before he knew what it was and then referred to it as Dalek.--Skittles the hog 10:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

me
Three years on, I think this article should be restored. There are other articles which are only known by their nicknames, like "Mr. Wiffy". --MrThermomanPreacher 18:49, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
I feel there should be an article for this specific Dalek. Perhaps a different name, though? Such as Dalek (Dalek) Or Dalek (Van Statten's Collection)ScotchAutopilot 19:02, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
why the cyberman would we delete this!?!?! like all other dalek articles is crucial to this wiki. ~user:majoras revenge!!!
YES TO METALTRON
I love that Dalek, its story was... touching and I think a character like that deserves his own wiki page! --Brian talk to me 12:29, June 17, 2012 (UTC)
why?!?!?
Why is this dalek in the murderers category it killed his evil staff that tortured him which is basically just self defense if someone tortured YOU wouldn't you kill them? Well even if you wouldn't it's still not technically murder it's just justice.
- (Don't forget to sign your posts.) Are you absolutely sure that every single person the Dalek killed tortured him? If not, then some of those deaths were the usual cold-blooded Dalek murders. Shambala108 ☎ 17:35, November 7, 2012 (UTC)
Name in the novelisation
In the novelisation it's revealed van Statten originally went through a few other names before deciding on "Metaltron", and at one point referred to it as "Pepperpotnik" or perhaps "Pepper Potnik" or something but I only listened to the audiobook so can somebody else add this to the page or at least tell me exactly how "Pepperpotnik" was spelt in the paper version of the book so I can add it. I get it must be a pun on "pepperpot" and the name "potnik" but beyond that I'm just not sure. NightmareofEden ☎ 14:52, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
