Jake Finlay was the third pilot of the Starship Future. He thought someone was messing about with the cargo and sent Erica Swann to find out. He thought that Swann was who she said she was. He became upset after learning that potentially his family had been mutated into Daleks. He became acting starship captain after defeating the Daleks, but the Dalek killed him as it wasn't fully dead. (AUDIO: Genetics of the Daleks)
