An amnesiac human who adopted the name "Star" (PROSE: Mindgame) was a mercenary taken by an alien along with the Sontaran Sarg, a Draconian and the commander of the Brigade Merq for experiments. The alien hoped to learn their strengths and weaknesses. The human eventually killed her captor and got herself and her fellow prisoners back where they had came from. (HOMEVID: Mindgame)

She later died by taking her own life in a failing solo spacecraft after a total systems failure. (HOMEVID: Scout Ship)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • In Mindgame, the unnamed human mercenary was strongly implied to be an older version of the Seventh Doctor's companion Ace, likewise played by Aldred. In fact, at one point during Scout Ship, the human exclaims "Where's a passing time machine when you need one?!" However, her identity was considerably more ambiguous in the final instalment of the Mindgame Trilogy, and the fact that the character perished in it further dissociated her with Ace.
