Minaris
Queen Minaris was a monarch of Peladon.

Queen Minaris reigned after her husband "withered and died" on the throne. She felt that she could do nothing for the troubled planet despite her position and often went along with what her daughter, Princess Isabelda, said, paying more attention to Thalira's broken music box than to problems she could do little for.
When Alpha Centauri visited the Citadel of Peladon, Minaris was willing to work to rebuild the planet's relationship with the Galactic Federation, something that Isabelda was against. At the suggestion of Alpha Centauri and Melanie Bush, she visited the site of the sinkhole in the Megeshra Province and left after giving a speech. Soon after, the villagers were led by Helais in an attack on the Citadel.
Isabelda took Minaris hostage when the villagers took over the Citadel and would have killed her had Helais not shot her and sent her over a cliff. Minaris mourned her daughter and decided to work with Alpha Centauri and Helais, whom she offered the post of chancellor, to rebuild Peladon. (AUDIO: The Death of Peladon)
