Doctor Who's little book of Villains was a miniature booklet published with the Doctor Who Suchard's Milk Chocolate Egg in 1982. The book featured a short story, several rub-down transfers, and a series of bios about the monsters featured in the story. Blank canvases were printed with the text, and the intention was that readers would apply the transfers to the different illustrations, making this story very similar to the journal entries by the Doctor printed in the first issue of Doctor Who Weekly.

The story is particularly rare among Doctor Who collectors, and is often overshadowed by the infamous product which it was released with, which was allegedly recalled due to the indelicate placement of a Dalek blast on the front of the packaging.
