An version of Romana in a divergent timeline worked at the Difference Office, a branch of the Celestial Intervention Agency dedicated to studying and resolving paradoxes.

Biography

As Lord President, the Warrior mandated that they execute Time Lords who tried to kill their past selves as a result of guilt for their actions in the Time War, which Romana was uncomfortable with but carried out nonetheless. Romana and her colleage Zorcha were present when an individual appearing like the Warrior but claiming to be the Doctor of an aberrant timeline attempted to depose the Warrior. The Difference Office was unable to detect any paradox. This turned out to be because the alleged Doctor was a Kraal android created by Styggron. Upon his plot failing, Styggron captured Romana and interrogated her on the events at the Citadel. He then tried to inject her with a virus that would infect and kill all the other Time Lords, but Romana revealed she was actually an android duplicate, allowing the Warrior to locate and execute Styggron. (AUDIO: The Difference Office)

Personality

Romana was smart and witty, taunting Styggron when interrogated, but also brave due to experiencing the Time War. When she met the Warrior, they both felt friendly in each other's company despite never having met before. (AUDIO: The Difference Office)
