Rename[[edit source]]

If it's to be moved, at least make the new page Maris (Celestial Intervention) rather than Maris (Celestial Intervention - A Gallifreyan Noir). Including the subtitle or whatever you want to call it is absurdly unwieldy.--MugaSofer 12:15, December 17, 2019 (UTC)

Not an admin, but AFAIK the thing is that it has to be consistent; if you want to do that, you have to also get Celestial Intervention - A Gallifrey Noir (short story) renamed to Celestial Intervention (short story). The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scrooge MacDuck (talk • contribs) .
Tardis:Characters with one name says the dab term must be the full title of the story in which the character first appears. We do have, for example, Abigail (The True and Indisputable Facts in the Matter of the Ram's Skull), which is also pretty unwieldy.
Also just want to point out Thread:128198, which states that only admins are permitted to move/rename pages on this wiki. Shambala108 16:27, December 17, 2019 (UTC)
That said, per Tardis:Disambiguating other realities, if the only conflict is with an alternate reality version of this same character, the main universe version does not also need dabbing.

Finally resolving this: unless an unrelated character also named "Maris" shows up, this doesn't need dabbing. Pete Tyler isn't at [[Pete Tyler (Father's Day)]]. As a bonus: the alternate Maris is now at Maris (Regenerators' timeline) which makes it extra clear who's from an alternate timeline and who's not. OncomingStorm12th 23:49, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
