Abigail was the ward of Mrs Allardyce. She and her guardian were invited to the home of Mr R.
Mr R hoped to use Abigail as a medium to contact another plane. He used a ram's skull as a gateway. During the gathering, she was possessed by an evil entity. The skull began to gain flesh, while Abigail became more and more gaunt. The skull was destroyed by the First Doctor and Edgar Allan Poe, but Abigail was killed.
