Candæmon

The Petaloudepta's Sweet God, which Pyke-Xi Raul called Candæmon, was an intelligence that arrived on the planet Bokuvell with the Court of Osirus. Using the insulation and electrical storage properties of sugar in different states, the Sweet God manipulated the planet's sugary atmosphere to create crystalline candies imbued with psychic data. It used these to control the native Petaloudepta, who believed the Sweet God had been judged worthy and raptured by the "Gods of Light" in their ancient history. (PROSE: Wringing Off)
