John Wayne

John Wayne was an American actor famed for playing cowboys.

John Wayne starred in Rio Bravo, a film which Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart described as "quite marvellous". (AUDIO: Kaleidoscope)

In the mid-1970s, he died of cancer, which he called "the Big C". As revenge for spoiling a punchline, Fu Manchu's son used genetic engineering to create Big Jim McTumour and the Cancer Gang, who gunned Wayne down in the street with their six-shooters. (PROSE: The Beasthouse)

Chantelle Stanford once confused him with Bruce Wayne. (PROSE: Autonomy)

In 1965, Rachel Jensen derisively compared Ian Gilmore to Wayne. (AUDIO: The Forgotten Village)
