Hogan was one of the youngest and least experienced crew of a space cargo freighter. He piloted the ship with the rest of the crew in deep cryo-sleep and narrowly avoided crashing the craft into Lunar City Six when a Garaman corrupted the pages of the ships manual and manifest itself aboard the freighter.
