Joanne Marsden met the Ninth Doctor in the early 21st century.

Joanne met the Ninth Doctor when he, dressed in a bus driver's uniform, took control of the 68 to Bolton despite the protests of the proper driver. The Doctor drove the bus for about a quarter of a mile to the next stop, let off all the passengers but one, and drove off down Lancaster Rd. This meant Joanne was half an hour late for her job.
Joanne later complained to the bus company, but they denied knowing about the Doctor or the incident. Joanne later wrote on the conspiracy website Doctor Who? in early 2005 about her encounter. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
