This page should be merged.

It should be relocated at Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart because they're the same individual.

This subject is not a valid source for writing our in-universe articles, and may only be referenced in behind the scenes sections or other invalid-tagged articles.
This article needs a big cleanup.

This article needs to be cleaned up to incorporate information from WC:Death Comes to Time in the main body rather than the "Behind the Scenes" section, as per "rule 4 by proxy" as agreed upon in Tardis:Temporary forums/Archive/An update to T:VS

These problems might be so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Talk about it here or check the revision history or Manual of Style for more information.

The Brigadier worked for UNIT and aided the Seventh Doctor.

He managed to stop Tannis' invasion with the help of the Doctor. Ace later informed him of the Doctor's death.

The Kingmaker suggested that the Doctor's death and defeat may have only happened in that universe. (NOTVALID: Death Comes to Time)

Behind the scenes

This individual, who has the voice and likeness of Nicholas Courtney, is ostensibly the version of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart who exists in the backstory of the webcast Death Comes to Time.

However, he never identifies himself by name within Death Comes to Time itself, instead introducing himself as "the Brigadier" much as Renegade Time Lords might call themselves simply "the Doctor" or "the Master". Given how much else Death Comes to Time rewrites about the backstory of the Doctor, is it impossible to know for sure whether the individual shares more traits of the valid Brigadier than what is seen onscreen.
