Paradise Before (comic story)
Paradise Before was the second backup comic story of Cutaway Comics' Paradise Towers comic series, accompanying the story Paradise Found. It was a prequel to the television story Paradise Towers and featured Kroagnon.
Summary
The old world is dying. The war is… not going well. Yet hope remains as paradise awaits the soon to be complete ark ship. It will cross the stars to a new haven, built by the great architect Kroagnon. Paradise will be a bright new home for all. All that survive, that is!
The grand council has convened for a war summit but hard choices must be made. Who lives, who dies, and ultimately who will be worthy of this shining new paradise?
Plot
Part One
The War Councillor of the Paradise Towers invokes Article 71, drafting all fight age citizens to fight in the war. The Great Architect Kroagnon supervises construction on the Towers, which is behind schedule. Kroagnon believes the Caretakers do not deserve his paradise and only deserve death.
