George Augustus was a journalist who wanted to know about the Contingency Club. Marjorie Stonegood asked him to find what had happened to her father. He told the Fifth Doctor and Tegan Jovanka about how the Contingency Club was recruiting alot of members. He was later hypnotised by Mr Peabody but he was only playing only. He knew of the Red Queen and was sent to stop her winning the game. (AUDIO: The Contingency Club)
