Spencer (Chameleon)

A Chameleon took over the identity of Spencer, and piloted humans to the Chameleon satellite.

"Spencer" was forced to shoot and kill Inspector Gascoigne for getting too close to the truth, when the detective found an envelope containing postcards in the Chameleon Tours hangar. He then abducted Polly Wright after she witnessed him kill Gascoigne.
"Spencer" later abducted Ben Jackson. He tried to kill the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Samantha Briggs with a laser, but the attempt failed when Jamie used a mirror from Samantha's handbag to reflect the laser light back and destroy the device.
After the Doctor defeated the Chameleons, the real Spencer was freed. (TV: The Faceless Ones)
