The unnamed homeworld of the Chameleons was a planet that suffered a catastrophe — a gigantic explosion that caused the Chameleons to lose their individual identities.
Captain Blade claimed that humans were no more intelligent than the animals found on his home planet. The Second Doctor allowed the Chameleons to return to their planet following his defeat of Chameleon Tours, (TV: The Faceless Ones) although they landed on Krennos instead. (PROSE: Face Value)
