Coyote Wars

The Coyote Wars were conflicts from the ancient history of the planet Vulpana. The Doctor visited Vulpana during the Coyote Wars and made a supply run during the Siege of Coyote Rock. He also met the Golden-Eyed Prince and Duchess Ironfang during this time and attended their coronation. The Coyote Wars ended because of the Doctor's involvement. The wars eventually faded from memory, and Vulpanans of the future believed they were merely myths. According to the myths a "stranger" in a "magic box" helped to end the Coyote Wars. Later, when the Seventh Doctor mentioned this past visit to his companion Mags, she realised that the stories were true and the stranger from the myths had been the Doctor.
