Early adventures

Stories set before the Eigth Doctor leaves Sam Jones at a Greanpeace rally, as mentioned as occuring in the past in PROSE: Vampire Science, should be placed here

Titan comics

As of 2023, these are the only series where the Eighth Doctor is wearing his Night of the Doctor outfit, but there isn't a cosmic crisis going on Note that there isn't sufficient evidence to place this before or after Time Lord Victorius in the timeline, but it has been placed before here due to the assumption based on release date (2016-2017 for these, 2020 (releases) for TLV). Ending the Time War

This is for the continuity presumed until TV: The Night of the Doctor, repopulised by Doctor Who and the Time War but which other stories had prevouisly utilised

CONTINUITY NOTE: Any story where the Eighth Doctor takes an active role in the Last Great Time War, especially if it is hinted that he will destroy the Time Lords and Daleks by the end, is presumed to take place here.

NOTE: All stories here are in some level of contradiction, and minimal internal ordering is presumed

• PROSE: Osskah - part of the Short Trips series.

The Doctor is carrying out distress calls to put an end to a "storm in Heaven", presumably the Last Great Time War due to being released in 2007, but the similarity in name to the War in Heaven could make it a reference to that.

The Eighth Doctor silver sonic screwdriver with a blue emitter, a description that matches the Ninth Doctor's, implying a setting near the end of his life.

• PROSE: Museum Peace - part of the Short Trips series. He knows he will "change again", but must do something involving ending a war with the Daleks.
• COMIC: The Forgotten: Revelation - Wearing old, worn-out Victorian clothing, the Doctor attempts to find a way to end the Time War with the Key of Rassilon. Upon looking back on his eighth incarnation, the Tenth Doctor indicated that he ended the war shortly after inquiring the Key.
• PROSE: Doctor Who and the Time War - the Eighth Doctor ends the Last Great Time War using The Moment. Powered by the Restoration, he is able to subvert the Moment's effect of disabling regeneration, and become the Ninth Doctor.

PROSE: The Eyeless mentioned the Doctor using a weapon to wipe out the Daleks and Time Lords.
