You may be looking for the Monk's "Truth".

The truth was information that was true.

History

In March 2005, Staff Sergeant A. Frederick told other UNIT officers on a secure operations board that, following Operation Mannequin, that "simple truth acknowledgement and standard position [was] maintained". (PROSE: Operation Mannequin)

At the same time, Mickey Smith took over the Who is Doctor Who? website to prove the truth about the Doctor to the world. (PROSE: The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre) A tribute for Clive was put up on the website where it was mentioned Clive had many dreams and hopes of uncovering the truth. (PROSE: Dummy Massacre) Around a week later, Mickey wrote more about his undertaking to prove the truth to the world, about how he had assumed Clive's mantle and how the truth was too uncomfortable and scary for most people to handle, hence their willingness to forget. (PROSE: The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre)

After the Slitheen craft crashed into the River Thames on 6 March 2006, Mickey, (TV: Aliens of London) going by "Mx", wanted Rose Tyler to tell everyone the truth about the Doctor, given his own efforts to uncover information about the Doctor weren't truly successful despite his best efforts. (PROSE: Alien landing confirmed)
