The Bad Wolf computer virus erased all information on Rose Tyler from the Torchwood Institute database. (TV: Love & Monsters) This was a result of Rose, as the Bad Wolf, scattering the phrase "Bad Wolf" throughout space and time. (TV: The Parting of the Ways)
Behind the scenes
- Previously, in World War Three — the fifth episode of series one of Doctor Who — the Ninth Doctor gave Mickey Smith a computer virus to erase himself off the Internet. While this virus and the Bad Wolf virus share similarities, it is unlikely that they are one and the same as the Bad Wolf virus erased Rose, not the Doctor, and in the short stories Hoax This! and Mickey's Blog, Mickey seemingly refuses to use the virus.
