Lost episode redirect?

Can "lost episode" be added as a redirect, since the episodes are frequently said to be lost. Some people search for the term "lost episode" as well, and when you do, the "missing episode" page doesn't appear till rather far down the list. I'm pretty sure these are good reasons to add "lost episode" as a redirect. --The Thirteenth Doctor 15:31, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

Tables

Hi, I hope nobody minds but I added a column to the tables that were there for the first 2 doctors. The first column for season 1-6 makes sense, but I think adding the Story column right after that so that people know what story it is, adds useful information for little cost. By elimination it also tells people which spans of the series are basically intact.

Besides this, which organizes on the basis of Story, I would also like to construct a table that organizes on the basis of Episode. Like basically we could list the overall episode number in the series. This table would be bigger, perhaps hostable on a sub-page, and have a row for each individual episode. This would allow us to list the actual episode titles.

We could still have a 'story' column, it would just list both the story number and the story title together. If anyone knows how to code tables well, you could even do it so that it is a shared box so that the story spans multiple rows. I'm going to look into seeing if I can do that for the existing 'season' column. +Yc 03:24, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

More found?

Rumours have been going around that around 90 of the 106 lost episodes have been found. Apparently two days ago Ian Levine was dismissing the rumours but as of a few hours ago he started tweeting that he had apparently received proof. Nothing is confirmed yet, but if true the 90 episodes are said to be all 44 of Hartnell's missing episodes and 46 (of 62) of Troughton's missing episodes. - The Light6 ☎ 05:58, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Does anybody know if any of the missing episode were play on New Jersey or Pennsylvania in the 1970.

Missing table and retrieved section

I added a table with the count of missing episode. I use rowspan for the totals, but look is not satisfactory Any suggestion on how to improve the look.

Also, I suggest we add a section with a list of which episode was retrieved which year and from which source.

• "In October 2013, it was announced that 9 complete episodes of Doctor Who had been found at a TV relay station in Nigeria. The episodes in question were found by archive television recovery expert Phillip Morris. Five of the episodes were from The Enemy of the World; episode 3, already existing in the BBC Archive, makes The Enemy of the World a complete story. The other 4 episodes were from The Web of Fear, which up until now had only episode 1 existing in the BBC Archive. Episodes 2, 4, 5 and 6 are now back in the BBC Archive; however, Episode 3 is still missing."

This information is really only partially correct. It seems that eleven episodes were found, including the two that already existed from these two stories. A source is needed for this information, so that it can be corrected with the actual facts; otherwise, this information will be removed until it can be properly sourced. Lost media rename

Personally, I am against the rename mentioned in the {{cleanup}} template. I'm all for a separate lost media page, but missing episodes have a lot of details, information, nuance and significance that other forms of lost media don't necessarily have. While not that long, I feel that it would be unwieldy to try and fit all of the information currently on this page into a more general lost media page and I actually feel that this page could easily be longer.
