Tarot was a type of fortune-telling performed with a special deck of cards, each card holding a meaning. Cards in a Tarot deck included

  • The Queen of Cups

  • The Hanged Man, signifying someone who would cause trouble
  • The Tower, usually struck by lightning, signifying death and destruction
  • Death, usually a skeleton holding a scythe and hourglass. (PROSE: White Darkness)
  • The Ace of Pentacles
  • The Four of Pentacles
