Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond was a large loch in Scotland.

In 16109 or 16110, Roger and Veronica Buchman founded what they later thought may have been the first Nerva City colony, and certainly the northernmost, on Inchfad Isle.
However in 16112, the loch froze over, and the colonists were recalled due to the extreme weather worldwide, and Nerva City was quarantined. When the ice was frozen over, a group of four hundred Wirrn were frozen in the ice.
By 16127, the loch had begun to melt, a process which would take years, according to the Sixth Doctor.
In that very year, the Sixth Doctor and Flip Jackson arrived on Inchfad Isle by transmat from Nerva City. There, they encountered the Wirrn underneath the loch, and helped to defeat them. (AUDIO: Wirrn Isle)
