Diodati's Circus was owned by Doctor Diodati and later his son Tony Diodati. (PROSE: The Return of the Discombobulated Woman [+]Loading...["The Return of the Discombobulated Woman (short story)"], Fellowship of Ink [+]Loading...["Fellowship of Ink (novel)"])

In the 1890s, the circus boasted many acts including the Gold Leaf Princess, a mermaid, Joseph Merrick the Elephant Man and Brenda "The Discombobulated Lady". Brenda was the highlight of the show and would pull herself to pieces in from of a live audience each night to the rhythm of a "sensous dance". When the Circus visited Paris, Brenda had an adventure involving hunchbacks, Phantoms, and undead in the catacombs. She ran away from the circus with Joseph while they were touring in northern England. Doctor Diodati took his rage out on the rest of the cast.
